Empathy should get you hired, not fired.

The past week has seen a massive cancel culture movement to punish those who did not grieve the podcaster...or worse, chose to post his own quotes of hate and discrimination to show that that kind of life should not be celebrated.

Murder should never be celebrated. Gun violence is never ok.
In the words of Pastor Howard John Wesley, "How you die does not redeem how you lived; you do not become a hero in your death when you were [evil] in your life."

I was moved by the stories of so many people losing their jobs or being punished by their employers for speaking out against the fascism that has taken root in the United States. I hope that this platform will allow those of you affected to find an even better job working with people who appreciate your character and values.
